Sr. Aerospace Sales Coordinator and Portal Administrator - NY

Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Coordinator - Aerospace & Defense will play a key role in supporting Lourdes Industries sales products, policies, and internal procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of sales processes, government, and commercial procurement portals. The ideal candidate must be proficient working with Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Must be highly organized,

detail oriented, and have knowledge of sales related administrative tasks. Tasks include but not limited to data entry, file maintenance, data research and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring communication with customers and vendors-all in support of the company’s objectives.   Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually.

Physical requirements:

  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Manual Dexterity: Use hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Vision and Hearing: Must be able to read documents, use a computer screen, and hear and understand speech in normal work settings.

Quality Engineer – NY

Position Summary:

Experience in the Aerospace industry. Reviews & analyzes Quality System compliance on a continual basis. Develops and maintains the company AS9102 FAI’s and final inspection plans. Manages rejections, RMA’s and associated AR’s. Proactively recommends solutions to inspection tasks to improve our ability to meet customer requirements and provide technical support (ie: Dwg, GDT’s and use of CMM). Ensures monitoring and measuring equipment is calibrated and working correctly. Participates in final acceptance testing and release for shipments of all products. Documentation of results and findings of internal quality audits and/or inspections. Participates in auditing by outside organizations/agencies. Full-time position with vacation, health care, and other benefits including 401K; salary starting at $90K, depending on skills and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read small text and handwriting.
  • Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently required to stand.
  • Ability to visually examine parts and documents.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum.

Mechanical Assembler – Hydraulic & Pneumatic – NY

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations of Hydraulic and Pneumatic valves, which includes skilled hand work. Work is semi-routine in nature, following detailed established processes and procedures. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and wiring on assembly units. Must have Aerospace experience. Pay: $23.00 -$27.00, with required overtime.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to lift to 20 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity (must be able to hold certain components with one hand while moving tools around with the other)
  • Constant hand manipulation of small to medium items
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • Frequent use of hand tools and other repair equipment
  • Use of chemicals for cleaning, lubricating and painting.
  • Vision and Hearing: Must be able to read documents, use a computer screen, and hear and understand speech in normal work settings.

CNC Machinist (Milling) – Set-up – NY

Position Summary:

AS9100 certified company seeking a CNC Machinist to produce precise engineered parts and tools by using computer numerically controlled equipment. The Machinist is responsible for making parts that fully meet all required specifications. This includes setting up equipment, operating the CNC Machine and inspecting finished parts. Reports to the Machine Shop Supervisor. 

Must have Aerospace experience. Pay: $28.00-$34.00, with required overtime.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, metal shavings, and lubricants.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools and machine controls.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, metal shavings, and lubricants.
  • Vision and Hearing: Must be able to read documents, use a computer screen, and hear and understand speech in normal work settings.

Electrical Assembler – Wire & Harness – AZ

Position Summary:

Assembles wire harnesses, cables, and mechanical assemblies utilizing process and work instructions. Reads and interprets assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets, manufacturing procedures and visual aids. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality. Displays the ability to use hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, nut-drivers, power drivers, etc. Performs visual and dimensional inspections for in-process assemblies and finished products. Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards. Pay: $18.00-$21.00

Physical Requirements

  • The team member is required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. 
  • The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to assemble parts and use equipment. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. 
  • May be required to lift to 20 lbs.
  • Vision and Hearing: Must be able to read documents, use a computer screen, and hear and understand speech in normal work settings.
