Sr. Aerospace Sales Coordinator and Portal Administrator - NY

Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Coordinator - Aerospace & Defense will play a key role in supporting Lourdes Industries sales products, policies, and internal procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of sales processes, government, and commercial procurement portals. The ideal candidate must be proficient working with Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Must be highly organized,

detail oriented, and have knowledge of sales related administrative tasks. Tasks include but not limited to data entry, file maintenance, data research and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring communication with customers and vendors-all in support of the company’s objectives.   Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually.

Physical requirements:

  • Read small print.
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Manual Dexterity: Use hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Vision and Hearing: Must be able to read documents, use a computer screen, and hear and understand speech in normal work settings.

Sr. Inspector - NY

PURPOSE

  • Perform various types of inspection work of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY

  • Inspect the organization’s vendors and subcontractors parts, service, etc. for compliance with their respective requirements.
  • Act as SQA for Pratt & Whitney program.
  • Act as Back Up Self Release Delegate for Honeywell Program
  • Perform First Article Inspections and generate appropriate reports.
  • Ensure standards used for compliance are current.

DUTIES

  • Read and interpret complex machining and fabrication/assembly drawings.
  • Perform first piece, in process and final inspections.
  • Inspect with standard QC inspection equipment such as calipers, optical comparators, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, pin gauges, thread gauges, etc.
  • Keep records and certifications, etc. in an organized manner.
  • Retrieve information as required from Quality Control’s database.
  • Sample critical characteristics of material arriving from vendors and subcontractors, such as conformance of materials to specifications, the types and quality of the finishes.
  • Check and approve the final product for release to the customer.
  • Ensure that measuring equipment calibration is performed according to established procedures.
  • Log the results of all inspection work.
  • Perform quality audits as assigned.
  • Use a computer and operating software to access data, retrieve data, etc.

EDUCATION

  • High School or equivalent
  • Familiarity with commercial standards, military standards, ISO standards, AS standards, etc.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of aerospace or equivalent.

  • Maintains a clean, safe and orderly work place.
  • A team player who can demonstrate mature judgment, timely feedback to his supervisor.

Maintenance Worker/Driver - NY

Position Summary:

Responsible for cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs of the assigned facility. Has general knowledge of facilities functions including but not limited to electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance duties. As a Driver, responsible for transporting product from a local location to another. Works under the direct supervision of Facilities Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • · Knowledge of carpentry – ability to make building alterations, install drywall, make necessary repairs to walls. Finisher – trim, taping/spackling, priming, painting.
  • · Provides custodial skills, to maintain all company areas in a clean and orderly condition such as sweeping, washing, and waxing floors, polishing metalwork; dusting/cleaning of offices, machines, windows, etc.
  • · General maintenance duties such as masonry, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to facility operations to reduce costs, maximize equipment uptime, increase energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift product, ability to pick up, push or pull 50 to 80 lbs as needed.
  • Operates delivery vans in a safe, efficient manner to deliver or pick up products.
  •      Loads product into the company vehicle and delivers to the appropriate location.
  •  Uses a navigation system to map out routes and deliver parcels to the correct address in a timely manner.
  • · Interacts with internal and external customers professionally at all times.
  • · Ensures that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
  • · Conveys the need for vehicle repairs to the Supervisor as needed.
  • · Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
  • · Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  • Trade school classes in electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, painting and related areas are a plus. Valid, clean driver’s license and ability to drive truck, van, forklift, and related motor vehicles a plus.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2-5 years of Facilities Maintenance experience.
  • Time management and organization skills.
