This Consulting position is for an advanced-level auditor who is able to perform in-depth system
and procedural audits. The Consultant should be considered an expert in AS9100 and audit
preparations. The ideal candidate must have manufacturing environment experience as it
relates to AS9100 and experience in leading AS9100 audits. Excellent interpersonal skills are a
must. The candidate should have knowledge of Quality tools (RCCA, APQP, PFMEA, REACH).
Ability to provide a GAP analysis and recommend process improvements.
Experience in the Aerospace industry. Reviews & Analyzes Quality System compliance on a
continual basis. Develops and maintains the company AS9102 FAI’s and final inspection plans.
Manages rejections, RMA’s and associated AR’s. Proactively recommends solutions to
inspection tasks to improve our ability to meet customer requirements and provide technical
support (ie: DWG, GDT’s and use of CMM). Ensures monitoring and measuring equipment is
calibrated and working correctly. Participates in final acceptance testing and release for
shipments of all products. Documentation of results and findings of internal quality audits and/or
inspections. Participates in auditing by outside organizations/agencies.
Aerospace manufacturing environment experience. Ability to read and interpret complex
machining and fabrication/assembly drawings. Will need to inspect production parts and
components for conformance to company, customer and industry standard requirements.
Knowledge of AS9100 requirements. Familiar with QC inspection equipment such as calipers,
optical comparators, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, pin gauges, thread gauges, etc.
Ability to inspect to commercial standards, military standards, ISO standards, AS standards, etc.
Produces precisely engineered parts and tools by using computer numerically controlled
equipment. Using computer software programs and blueprints to create operation instructions
for CNC machinery. The Machinist is responsible for making parts that fully meet all required
specifications. This includes setting up equipment, operating the CNC Machine and inspecting
finished parts. Knowledge of Live tooling and dual spindle/dual turret machining. Ability to use
depth micrometers, pitch micrometers, bore gauge, vernier caliper, thread gauges, Johnson
gauge, groove gauge, blade micrometer, height gauge.

The Production Manager oversees and manages the operations of the production area
to ensure that volume, cost, waste and quality standards are achieved. Works under the
direct supervision of senior operations staff. Ensures that project/department
milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Oversees Production
scheduling for Tucson and Hauppauge assembly. Develops a high level of understanding
of AS9100 Quality System. Leads and implements continuous improvements.
Responsible for cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs of assigned facility. Has
general knowledge of facilities functions including but not limited to electrical,
carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance duties. As a Driver, responsible
for transporting product from a local location to another. Physical stamina and good
upper body strength to lift product, ability to pick up, push or pull 50 to 80 lbs. as
needed. Works under the direct supervision of Facilities Supervisor.
