Unique patented self-locking fluid fitting design that incorporates a redundant locking scheme to prevent loosening of a fluid fitting joint. The locking feature, which is independent of the threads, creates frictional forces and a prevailing torque that resists self loosening.
Lourdes solenoid valves are fast acting, positive motion valves for use in fuel, pneumatic and hydraulic applications. They are custom designed and built to the strictest manufacturing and safety specifications for situations where electrical power sources vary from abundant to highly limited. These valves can be designed to operate in virtually any environmental conditions whether on land, in the air or at sea.
Lourdes butterfly valves are designed to operate in pneumatic and fuel applications. As such, these valves come in many diverse sizes for activation by gas, air or fuel flow. Lourdes butterfly valves have been used in ground support, shipboard and aircraft systems and can be used in any attitude. They have a low pressure drop irrespective to most environmental conditions and can be built to operate in temperatures of up to 1200°F over a wide pressure range. These valves are made from inconel titanium, stainless steel and aluminum as per the customer's specification.
Lourdes custom designed and manufactured cartridge valves for military and commercial applications. Found in fuel, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, these valves have demonstrated their extraordinary reliability in a wide variety of environmentally demanding installations on land as well as in the air and at sea. Available in operating pressures to 8000 PSI with a wide range of flow rates and zero leakage. They are constructed in aluminum, stainless or other more exotic materials.
Lourdes shuttle valves are precision designed for hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel applications for both military and commercial uses. These rugged valves have seen duty in land, sea and air systems requiring a high degree of reliability under adverse environmental conditions. They operate through a wide pressure range with minimum pressure drop and minimal internal and external leakage. Lourdes shuttle valves are made from either stainless steel or aluminum, depending upon the customer's design parameters.
Lourdes dehydrators are designed to dry the ambient air in microwave, antenna, cable and fiber optic cable assemblies. They have a high degree of reliability, require very little maintenance and are easily serviced on site. These systems can be built as component parts to fit within a larger system or can be built as a totally contained free-standing unit. The units can be designed to meet any configuration in order to meet your specific design parameters.
Lourdes swivel assemblies are manufactured for both specific and general applications. Designed and built to accommodate radial movement in hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Some specific applications are aircraft landing gears, flight control systems, ground/sea based antenna systems, gun turrets and missile launchers. In addition to standard metals, these low torque swivels are constructed from more exotic materials (i.e. titanium) and are designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions as well as the stresses of jointed motion. Lourdes hydraulic swivel assemblies feature full flow and minimum pressure drop with operating pressures to 8,000 PSI, proof pressure of 12,000 PSI and burst pressure of 16,000 PSI. Lourdes pneumatic applications vary from low pressure (1-5 PSIG) to high pressures of 100-500 PSIG.
Lourdes drain valves have a very important, though specific application. They are used to drain water and fuel from aircraft fuel systems. They are lightweight and are built from stainless steel, aluminum and other composite, non-conductive materials. Lourdes drain valves operate up to 240 PSI through a wide range of flow rates with zero leakage. Valves made from non-conductive materials have the added feature of being lightening-proof
Lourdes pressure switches are the epitome of reliability operating from very low to very high activating pressures. These switches have been used in such diverse applications as torpedoes, missiles, and hovercraft in fuel, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Lourdes' pressure switches have a high degree of accuracy and repeatability which makes them desirable in these critical applications. They are built from stainless steel, aluminum and other more exotic metals as required.
All valves are custom configured to meet even the most difficult design criteria.
